Alerts, tracking and shortcuts

Price alerts, market event countdowns, tracking other wallets, sounds, keyboard shortcuts and exchange status. Everything here runs in your browser, so it works while a page of the desk is open.

Price alerts

The chart toolbar's Alert button sets an alert 0.5% above the current price. Drag its dashed amber line to the price you want; dragging it across the price flips its direction. The arrow next to the button lists every alert on the network, so alerts in other markets can be reached and removed.

  • An alert fires once: a toast, a line in Activity and, with permission, a desktop notification.
  • Up to 100 alerts per network are kept in this browser.
  • Nothing watches prices on a server. A price crossed while no page was open is reported when you next open one.

Market events

The Market events tab in Settings lists stock market opens in Tokyo, Hong Kong, Shanghai, Europe and the US, the US close, and the US inflation (CPI), jobs and Fed rate releases. Each has two switches, both off until you turn them on.

  • Countdown shows the nearest chosen event in the top bar. Click it to see the next time of each one in your time zone.
  • Notify sends a desktop notification and a line in Activity, at the start or 1, 5, 15 or 30 minutes before.
  • Your events: add your own, such as a token unlock or an earnings call, with a name and a date and time in your time zone. Each gets the same two switches and is removed a week after it has passed.
  • Opens skip weekends and exchange holidays. Release dates follow the official calendars; the Fed can still move a meeting.
  • Notifications only come while a page of the desk is open, and once even with several tabs open.

Tracking wallets

The Track tab saves up to 20 named public addresses per network and follows the fills of up to five of them, without touching your own account or ticket.

  • The feed shows what each wallet did: open, add, reduce, close or flip.
  • Tracked on the chart shows their fills as markers in each wallet's colour.
  • Watch opens a tracked address read-only; Return to my wallet goes back.
  • Desktop notifications are opt-in, per wallet.

Fill sounds and notifications

Every fill shows a notice. Turn on the fill sound in Settings → Sound & keys to add a short chime, and a low falling tone for a liquidation. Browsers keep a page silent until you have clicked or typed in it, so until then a fill shows a desktop notification instead, which plays the system sound.

Browser tab title

The browser tab shows the selected market's price, led by your open position's P&L, for example +$124.50 · BTC 67,412, and its icon turns green or red with that P&L. It stays live while you are in another tab. In Settings → Browser tab you can show the price only or the page name, count every open position instead of the selected market, show the P&L as a percent of margin, or keep the normal icon.

Keyboard shortcuts

Off by default; turn them on in Settings → Sound & keys. Letters and digits are ignored while you type in a field.

Maintenance and incidents

On mainnet, an amber banner announces planned or ongoing exchange maintenance, in your local time with a countdown, and a red one reports incidents. Notices come from the exchange's public status page. They are advice only: your orders and stops behave as usual.
