The ticket builds one order at a time: side, type, risk, stop, target, an optional trailing stop and an optional trailing take profit. It sizes the order before anything is sent, and shows what you stand to lose and gain after fees.
Order types
- Market fills at once, at most the slippage limit away from the mid price (1% by default, changeable in Settings).
- Limit rests in the book until filled or cancelled. With Post only it only ever adds liquidity: an order that would fill at once is cancelled instead.
- Trigger sends a market order when the mark price reaches the trigger. A buy above the current price is a breakout entry, a buy below it a dip entry, and the other way round for sells.
Under a limit or trigger price, one line says what the order will do, for example "Buys at market once the price rises to 82,000 (breakout)", or that a buy limit above the price would fill at once as a taker.
Click a bid or ask row in the order book to fill the limit or trigger price. A Market ticket switches to Limit; a Trigger ticket stays on Trigger. You can also focus a book row and press Enter or Space.
The summary
Under the order button, four rows sum up the sized order:
- size and value;
- leverage, with the liquidation price;
- loss at the stop and profit at the target, both after fees;
- reward : risk after fees, red below 1, amber from 1 and green from 2. Hover it to see the win rate you need to break even.
A single amber line appears only when execution looks poor: the visible book cannot fill a market order within the slippage limit, the expected price impact is above 0.1%, or a post-only limit would be cancelled. Details holds the rest: margin, fees, the profit you keep after fees, the trailing stop, the effect on your open risk and an execution and funding estimate.
Options
Choices you rarely change sit under Options, closed by default. Its summary names what is set, for example "Isolated · Liq. as stop".
- Margin mode: isolated (the default) or cross.
- Liquidation as stop and Size by margin and leverage.
- Post only, for limit orders.
- Take profit as a limit order at the target. See Market or limit take profit.
- Slippage, the trailing stop's R values and the take-profit trail for this order. Use Settings defaults resets them.
Placing the order
The first click on the order button arms it; a second click sends the order. What happens next is reported plainly:
- a refusal says "not placed", with the exchange's reason;
- when the exchange does not reply, or only part of an action went through, the page says so instead of guessing;
- market orders are blocked while the live price feed is down.
Presets
The Presets button next to the trailing stop checkbox saves up to 20 named ticket setups in this browser: sizing, stop, targets, trailing stop and post only. Clicking a preset applies it; an amber dot on the button shows when the ticket has changed since.
- Stops and targets are stored as distances, so a preset works on any market. A target such as
2Ruses the stop's distance. - A preset with an exact price only applies to its own market and is marked "<market> only".
- Each preset's ⋯ menu has Update, Rename, Duplicate and Delete; Update and Delete offer Undo.
- Presets never store an entry price or an account.
Scroll to adjust
Scroll over a filled-in risk, stop, take profit, close percentage, limit or trigger price to step it up or down. Prices follow the market's tick size, percentages and R values move by 0.1 and close percentages by one point. Hold Shift for ten steps at a time.
