Introduction

FAQ

Short answers to the questions that come up most. Each links to the page with the details.

Do I need to sign up?

No. There is no Hypurr Desk account. Connect a wallet and its address is your trading account. You can also watch any address read-only without a wallet.

Can Hypurr Desk move my funds?

The trading key in your browser can place and cancel orders and change leverage. It cannot withdraw or transfer. Every deposit and withdrawal is signed by your wallet. See The trading key.

What keeps working when I close the tab?

Everything that rests on the exchange: entry orders, stop losses, take profits and trailing stops. A few things need an open page: adding a trailing stop after a limit or trigger entry fills (it is added on your next visit otherwise), price alerts, market event notifications, fill sounds and notifications, and tracking other wallets.

Why does the ticket insist on a stop?

Risk sizing needs one: the size is what makes the loss at the stop equal your risk. To trade without a stop order, choose Liquidation as stop under Options, where the margin itself is the risk. See Liquidation as stop.

Which markets can I trade?

Crypto perpetuals and the builder-deployed markets settled in USDC: stocks, commodities, indices, FX and pre-IPO names. They are perpetual contracts that track a price; you do not own the underlying shares. See Markets.

What does it cost?

The exchange's own trading fees plus a 0.025% builder fee on each order's value. Cancels, leverage changes and trailing stops carry no builder fee. See Fees.

Does it work on a phone?

Yes. Below 900 pixels wide the desk becomes one column with a bottom bar: Chart, Trade, Account and Calendar. On a phone, MetaMask and Coinbase Wallet switch to their app; other wallets work when you open the desk in that wallet app's own browser. WalletConnect is not supported.

Can I use several browsers?

Yes, but each browser keeps its own trading key, settings, presets and journal. Approving a trading key again replaces the previous one. Export the journal from one browser and import it in the other to move your notes.

Is my journal backed up?

Only if you export it. Notes and images are stored in this browser. The Journal page exports JSON (notes, without images) and CSV, and chart images download as PNG files. See Where it is stored.

Is it part of Hyperliquid?

No. Hypurr Desk is an independent project that uses the exchange's public API.
