Terms of Service
Last updated 28 October 2026
The short version
- Hypurr Desk is software that runs in your browser and sends your orders to Hyperliquid. We never hold your funds or your wallet keys.
- Perpetual futures are leveraged and risky. You can lose all the money in your account.
- It is not available in the United States, Ontario (Canada) or sanctioned countries and regions.
- Orders placed through Hypurr Desk carry a small builder fee that you approve in your wallet first.
- Anyone who has enabled trading, outside the restricted regions, can earn 30% of the builder fee on orders placed by wallets they refer, if the wallet was referred at or after the program's launch, for as long as the program runs. Creating a referral code needs $10,000 of your own trading volume. On mainnet, a wallet that enables trading here without a link and without an existing Hyperliquid referrer is given Hypurr Desk's own referral code, which gives you a fee discount.
- Nothing here is investment advice. You decide every trade.
This summary helps you read the Terms below; the full text is what applies.
1. Who we are and what these Terms cover
The Hypurr Desk trading interface at hypurr.app (the "Interface") is made available by Hypurr Desk ("we", "us"). You can reach us at info@hypurr.app.
These Terms apply to the Hypurr Desk website and the trading terminal at /app/. By using the Interface, or by ticking the box when you enable trading, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Interface.
2. What Hypurr Desk is, and what it is not
Hypurr Desk is a user interface for Hyperliquid, a decentralised blockchain with its own order books for perpetual futures. The Interface is a static website: it runs in your browser and talks to Hyperliquid and the other services listed in our Privacy Policy directly. We run no server that receives your orders, keys or account data.
- We are not an exchange, broker, custodian or investment adviser. Orders are matched, settled and liquidated by Hyperliquid, not by us. We cannot reverse, cancel or change a transaction on Hyperliquid.
- We are not affiliated with Hyperliquid, Hyperliquid Corp., the Hyper Foundation, or any wallet provider. Hyperliquid has its own terms, which also apply when you use it.
- We never hold your assets. Your funds stay in your Hyperliquid account, controlled by your wallet.
- No advice. Prices, charts, sizing calculations, statistics and anything else the Interface shows are information and tools, not a recommendation to trade. Check orders before you send them.
3. Who may use Hypurr Desk
You may use the Interface only if you are at least 18 years old (or the age of majority where you live, if higher), can enter into a binding contract, and are not a Restricted Person.
Restricted Persons are:
- people and entities that live in, are located in, are incorporated in or have a registered office in the United States of America or Ontario, Canada;
- people and entities that live in, are located in, are incorporated in or have a registered office in a country or region subject to comprehensive economic and trade sanctions or export controls (for example Cuba, Iran, North Korea, and the Crimea, Donetsk and Luhansk regions of Ukraine), together "Restricted Territories";
- citizens of Restricted Territories, wherever they are; and
- anyone listed on, or owned or controlled by someone listed on, a sanctions list kept by the United Nations, the European Union, the United Kingdom or the United States (including OFAC's Specially Designated Nationals list).
You must not use a VPN, proxy or any other method to hide your location or get around these restrictions, and you must not give false information about where you live or your citizenship. You are also responsible for making sure that trading leveraged derivatives is lawful where you are; some countries restrict or ban it for retail traders even where we do not block it. We may block access from any place, wallet address or person at any time, without notice, to comply with the law or to manage risk.
4. Your wallet, the API wallet and your security
- You connect your own wallet (for example Rabby, MetaMask or Coinbase Wallet). You are responsible for it, its recovery phrase and every transaction it signs. We never see your wallet's private key or recovery phrase.
- To trade, your wallet signs one approval for an API wallet: a trading key that the Interface creates and stores in your browser's local storage, valid for up to 180 days. It can place and cancel orders and change leverage on your account, but it cannot withdraw funds.
- Anyone who can use your browser profile, or malicious software on your device, can trade your account with that key until it expires or you remove it in Settings. Keep your device secure, and remove the API wallet on shared or untrusted devices.
- If you link a phone, the phone gets its own API wallet, valid for up to 30 days, through a QR code. Anyone who sees that code can trade your account until you unlink the phone in Settings or the key expires.
- Deposits and withdrawals are signed by your wallet and move through third-party systems (Circle's CCTP, Arbitrum and HyperEVM). Check the network, address and amount before you sign.
5. Fees
Hyperliquid charges its own trading fees and funding, which are set by Hyperliquid and shown in the order ticket.
In addition, orders placed through Hypurr Desk carry a builder fee for us: a percentage of each order's value, shown in the app before you approve it (currently 0.025%). Trading through the Interface requires that you first approve this fee with a wallet signature. Hyperliquid collects the fee on-chain together with its own fees and pays it to our builder address; Hyperliquid will not let us charge more than the maximum you approved. Closing positions, editing stops and cancelling orders work without it. You can revoke the approval at any time in Settings or directly on Hyperliquid, after which you can no longer open new positions through the Interface.
Fees are charged on-chain per order and are not refundable, including on orders that lose money. We may change the builder fee for future orders; any increase above the maximum you approved needs your new approval. Network (gas) costs of deposits and withdrawals go to the networks involved, not to us. You are responsible for your own taxes.
6. Referral program
Hypurr Desk runs a referral program. It uses Hyperliquid's own referral system for attribution, so Hyperliquid's records, not ours, decide who referred whom. We keep no referral records of our own.
- Joining. Anyone who has enabled trading on the Interface (approved the builder fee) and is not a Restricted Person can be an affiliate. There is no separate sign-up. By ticking the box when you enable trading, you accept this section too. If you enabled trading under earlier Terms, this section applies to you from the moment you accept these Terms. To create a referral code you must meet Hyperliquid's own requirement (at the time of writing $10,000 of your own trading volume); the Interface shows your progress.
- Your share. An affiliate earns 30% of the builder fee paid by each wallet that Hyperliquid records as referred by the affiliate's code, on orders placed at or after both the program's launch and the moment that wallet was referred to the affiliate. A wallet that was referred before the program's launch earns nothing; it must have been referred at or after the launch. The affiliate must have enabled trading on the Interface; this is checked when earnings are calculated. It lasts for the life of the referred wallet, for as long as the program runs. The affiliate's share comes out of our builder fee; referred users pay nothing extra for it.
- Attribution. Hyperliquid keeps one referrer per wallet, permanently, and the first referrer wins. We cannot add, change or remove a referrer. If the wallet already has a referrer when a link's code is applied, the affiliate who shared the link earns nothing for that wallet; the wallet's existing Hyperliquid referrer earns the 30% share instead, if that referrer has enabled trading on the Interface and the referral dates from at or after the program's launch. If Hyperliquid refuses a code for any other reason and the wallet has no referrer, no one earns a share for that wallet. We owe no share for a referral that Hyperliquid does not record.
- Calculation. Earnings are calculated from Hyperliquid's public builder-fill files and referral records, both on the Referrals page and when we pay. If these data are wrong, late or missing, the calculation follows the data; a difference found later is settled in the next payout. We may correct an obvious error in a payout.
- Payouts. We pay once a month, in USDC on Hyperliquid, from our builder address to the affiliate's Hyperliquid address, for what is owed up to the end of the previous month. A payout needs the affiliate's builder-fee approval (trading enabled) to be in place when we pay; while it is revoked, the amount waits and is paid after it is approved again. The minimum payout is $10; a smaller amount carries over to the next month. We may withhold a payout while we reasonably suspect that these Terms or the law were broken. We pay the full amount and do not withhold tax. You are responsible for reporting and paying any taxes on what you earn.
- Restricted regions. Restricted Persons (section 3) cannot take part in the program and are not paid. We may stop paying an affiliate we reasonably believe is a Restricted Person.
- Self-referral. Referring a second wallet that you control is allowed. It works like cashback on your own orders, capped at the 30% share. The rules on market manipulation in section 8, such as wash trading to generate fees, still apply.
- Our own code. Only on mainnet, when a wallet enables trading through the Get started dialog on this site, has no code from a referral link stored in the browser and has no referrer on Hyperliquid, the Interface sets Hypurr Desk's own code,
HYPURRDESK, as that wallet's referrer using the wallet's API wallet. The user gets Hyperliquid's discount on trading fees (at the time of writing 4% on the first $25M of volume), and Hypurr Desk receives Hyperliquid's referral reward, on top of the builder fee. The Get started dialog says so before you enable trading, and by enabling trading you agree to it. If a referral link was used, the link's code is applied instead. Because Hyperliquid keeps one referrer per wallet, this cannot be changed afterwards. Hypurr Desk does not earn the affiliate share on its own code. - Hyperliquid's rewards. The discount and the affiliate's referral reward on Hyperliquid belong to Hyperliquid's program, are governed by its terms, and can change without us. We do not guarantee them.
- How you promote. Do not promise returns, send spam, or pretend to be us. Say clearly that your link is a referral link, and follow the advertising and disclosure rules that apply where you promote it.
- Changes and ending. We may change or end the program at any time. We will give notice in these Terms (the date at the top changes) and in the Interface, and the change applies to orders placed after that notice, including orders of wallets that were referred earlier. What was earned before the change is still paid.
7. Risks you accept
Trading perpetual futures carries a high risk of loss. By using the Interface you confirm that you understand and accept these risks, among others:
- Leverage and liquidation. Leverage magnifies losses as well as gains. Hyperliquid can liquidate your position and you can lose all the margin behind it, and in cross margin, your whole account.
- Market risk. Prices can move fast and gap past stops. Stop and take-profit orders are trigger orders on Hyperliquid; they do not guarantee a price, and a market order can fill with slippage.
- Non-crypto markets. Markets that track stocks, commodities, indices, currencies or private companies are perpetual contracts on Hyperliquid, often created by third parties. They give no ownership of the underlying asset and can trade away from it.
- Technology. Hyperliquid, its validators, oracles, bridges, wallets, RPC providers, your browser and the Interface itself can fail, be attacked, contain bugs or be unavailable. Orders can be rejected, delayed, or sent when you did not expect.
- Calculations. Position sizes, liquidation prices, fees, P&L, R-multiples and statistics are estimates based on data available to your browser. Hyperliquid's own records are what count.
- Regulation. Laws on crypto assets and derivatives change. A change can affect your ability to use the Interface or Hyperliquid, or the value of your positions.
Only trade with money you can afford to lose.
8. How you may not use the Interface
You agree not to use the Interface to:
- break any law, including sanctions, anti-money laundering and market abuse rules;
- manipulate markets, for example through wash trading or spoofing;
- trade with funds that come from crime or that belong to someone else without their permission;
- attack, overload, probe or interfere with the Interface, Hyperliquid or other users, or exploit a bug instead of reporting it to us; or
- copy the Interface's name, logo or look to impersonate us.
9. Availability and changes
We provide the Interface free of charge apart from the builder fee, and we may change, suspend or stop any part of it at any time, for example to fix a problem or to comply with the law. Features that depend on Hyperliquid or other third parties can stop working when they change. Your positions and resting orders live on Hyperliquid, so you can always manage them through other interfaces, including Hyperliquid's own.
10. Intellectual property
The Hypurr Desk name, logo, mascot and website content belong to us or our licensors. You may use the Interface for your own trading. Market data belongs to Hyperliquid and its sources.
11. Our liability
The Interface is provided "as is" and "as available". To the extent the law allows, we give no warranties that it will be accurate, uninterrupted, secure or free of errors, or that it is fit for a particular purpose.
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for: trading losses; liquidations; slippage; missed trades; losses caused by Hyperliquid, its validators or oracles, wallets, bridges, RPC providers or other third parties; losses from a compromised device, wallet or API wallet; loss of data stored in your browser; or indirect or consequential loss, including lost profits. Where we are liable, our total liability to you is limited to the builder fees you paid us in the twelve months before the event that caused the loss.
Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including liability for our intent or deliberate recklessness (opzet of bewuste roekeloosheid), or your rights as a consumer under mandatory law.
12. Your responsibility to us
To the extent the law allows, you will compensate us for claims, losses and costs (including reasonable legal costs) that third parties bring against us because you broke these Terms or the law.
13. Ending your use
You can stop using the Interface at any time: remove the API wallet and revoke the builder fee in Settings, and clear this site's data in your browser. We may block your access if we reasonably believe you broke these Terms or the law, or if the law requires it. Sections 5 (for fees already charged), 6 (for payouts already earned, which are paid once the builder-fee approval is in place again), 7, 11, 12 and 15 continue to apply after you stop.
14. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms, for example when the law, Hyperliquid or the Interface changes. The date at the top shows the latest version. When we make a material change, the Interface asks you to accept the new Terms before you open new positions. If you do not agree, stop using the Interface.
15. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the country where we are established, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Disputes go to the competent courts of that country. If you are a consumer, you keep the protection of the mandatory laws of the country where you live and may also bring a claim in the courts there.
If you have a complaint, please contact us first at info@hypurr.app; we will try to resolve it.
16. General
If a court finds part of these Terms invalid, the rest still applies, and the invalid part is replaced by a valid one that comes as close as possible to its purpose. If we do not enforce a right straight away, we do not give it up. You may not transfer your rights under these Terms without our consent. These Terms are written in English; a translation is for convenience only.
